The Fraser Centre Community Trust is delighted to have raised the fantastic total of £871.80 towards replacement New Age Kurling equipment.

    The fundraising was achieved through a successful coffee morning at St Martins and a generous donation of £300 from M&F Funeral Services.

    New Age Kurling with The Fraser Centre began in 2013 the activity regularly attracts 20-25 participants every week. However the equipment had become faulty and affected the game, signalling the need to fundraise for new equipment.

    This amazing fundraising total will allow the Trust to purchase two new sets and targets.

    David Orr Project & Development Manager for The Fraser Centre said “This activity has consistently been very popular and is really enjoyed by everyone who comes along so I would like to thank M& F Funeral Services for continuing to support the centre and to everyone who made the coffee morning such a great success, thank you.”

    New Age Kurling is for over 50’s and is held every Tuesday 9.45am at St Martins Hall, Tranent in partnership with Ageing Well
