The Fraser Centre Community Trust and our partners are delighted to be shortlisted for the RICS Social impact Awards: Recognising the built environment’s positive and transformational contribution to society.

The Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has shortlisted 35 of the country’s most impactful construction projects for its prestigious Social Impact Awards, Scotland.

The projects will be judged and voted on by an expert panel of RICS members and other experts based on their role in transforming communities and the everyday lives of people.

The awards are divided into nine award categories to include the best examples of development in the commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, infrastructure, land & rural, leisure, residential and student accommodation sectors – with an overall winner also due to be announced.

The Trust said: “We are delighted to have been nominated and had our project recognised for the positive impact it is already making in our community. We would like to thank Fleming Buildings and our design team including: Norr UK; Storrier & Donaldson; Hulley & Kirkwood; and The Structural Partnership for all their work on creating the new Fraser Centre”.

The winners will be announced at the RICS Scotland ceremony on 23 April.
