The Fraser Centre is delighted to announce its film season for the autumn beginning with the family film, ‘Epic’ on Saturday 5th October at 3pm.
Development Manager, David Orr was delighted to introduce the new programme: ‘The programme is very much focused towards families and allowing everyone to be able to visit and see films they may not have had the chance to see before.’
Family films feature throughout the programme beginning with the animated adventure, Epic before continuing throughout the next three months with family blockbusters such as: Despicable Me 2; The Croods; Monsters University; Turbo; Planes; and Arthur Christmas.
The summer blockbuster Superman: Man of Steel will also be showing on Friday 22nd November, 7pm.
Other films showing through the season include Unfinished Song, a funny and inspiring story starring Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave which shall screen on Wednesday 9th, October 2pm and Friday 11th October, 7pm.
The hit Scottish film, The Happy Lands by Theatre Workshop Scotland will feature on Wednesday 6th November at 2pm and Friday 8th November, 7pm, which tells the true stories of mining communities in Fife during the 1926 general strike.
All films at the Fraser Centre are paid for by donation only and funds go towards the refurbishment of the centre.
Tickets will be available online through www.thefrasercentre.com and at the George Johnstone Centre in Tranent. Remaining tickets will be available 30 minutes before the performance begins at the centre.
