The Fraser Centre would like to thank Morrison’s Construction for their support in donating time and materials in building a new access ramp to the centre.

The addition of this new ramp, replacing two steps, will provide improved access to people unable to manage the steps at the front entrance. We now have two entrances suitable for wheelchair access, however this new one reduces the distance into the hall which is a huge benefit to people, in particular those using walking frames.

This route is also well used for moving furniture for our events and will also have an impact upon the ease we can change settings for each event.

Development Manager, David Orr said, “We are very grateful to all at Morrison’s Construction for their support, in particular Stacey for her help in making this happen. As our events have been gaining in popularity we have noticed the demand and need to develop our existing disabled access into the hall, this new ramp allows the distance it would usually take people to enter the hall to be halved. Stacey at Morrison’s and the joiners have been fantastic and very supportive to us and we really appreciate there help”.
